About

Manalive Media Group operates at the intersection of art, media, and entrepreneurialism. We exist to entertain, but resolve to do so by bringing to life avante garde stories of moral importance that enlighten and elevate.

At our core, we are a countercultural enterprise led by a team of uniquely experienced professionals, who also seek to develop the creative and innovative potential of aspiring entrepreneurs, filmmakers and artists by accompanying them in their search for what is right and good.  

We’re looking for multi-talented individuals to join us. Ideal candidates will have a firm belief in the vision and mission of Manalive Media Group, as well as an executive mindset and talent stack commensurate with the challenges inherent in such a venture.

We offer internships throughout the year to advance the artistic and intellectual cultivation of the human person in its countless forms, further strengthening the Manalive mission through the energy, enthusiasm, and talent of high potential young people, about to begin their careers.



Entrepreneurialism

OVERVIEW 

A genuine entrepreneur is one who is willing to risk career stability or financial security to pursue an idea that has potential for great returns. Manalive Media Group’s entrepreneurialism internship will equip the aspiring entrepreneur for success in today’s ever-changing global marketplace. 

Get real-world startup experience working in the trenches with some of the brightest undergraduate minds from around the world matriculating at universities across the United States—all under the guidance of an experienced team of business founders and strategists. Together, you’ll assist leadership in the execution of its overall business strategy while developing the skills, values, and best practices for success in business and innovation development. 

  • Duration: 3–6 months

  • Time commitment: 5–10 hours minimum per week.

  • Location: virtual (team meetings held via video-conference).

Opportunities

  • Gain hands-on experience in business management, including operations, marketing, technology, and finance.

  • Become comfortable working in a professional business environment and with a cross-functional team.

  • Learn from deeply experienced professionals through the Guest Speaker and Mentorship programs.

  • Receive a letter of recommendation and Certificate of Completion from the CEO upon completion.

  • Receive academic credit.

RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Conduct research and offer recommendations.

  • Determine target markets of various projects, integrating into financial model.

  • Develop marketing messages and strategies tailored for digital marketing campaigns. 

  • Manage social media and other avenues to build awareness of enterprise and projects. 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Enrollment in an accredited university majoring in Economics, Business, Marketing, or another related field; minimum 3.5 GPA.

  • Well-organized, independent, hard-working, detail-oriented, levelheaded, and personable. 

  • A working knowledge of Macs and proficient in Microsoft Office preferred.

  • Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills. 


Aesthetics

Overview

Manalive Media Group’s aesthetics internship will equip those who aspire to positively impact culture with the skills needed to manifest excellence in culture and identity via filmmaking and digital storytelling.

Discover how to truly influence by working alongside some of the brightest undergraduate minds from around the world matriculating at universities across the United States—all in collaboration with an experienced team of joyful, yet countercultural, creators. Together, you’ll assist leadership in the execution of its overarching vision while developing the skills, values, and best practices needed to reshape our culture through art.

  • Duration: 3–6 months.

  • Time commitment: 5–10 hours minimum per week.

  • Location: virtual (meetings held via video-conference).

 OPPORTUNITIES

  • Become comfortable working in a professional business environment and with a cross-functional team.

  • Learn from deeply experienced professionals through the Guest Speaker and Mentorship programs.

  • Receive a letter of recommendation and Certificate of Completion from the CEO upon completion.

  • Receive academic credit.

 RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist in the development of media projects.

  • Provide perspectives to ensure projects reflect Manalive’s creative vision.

  • Conduct research by applying concepts learned within an academic environment.

  • Support other interns along with the leadership to formalize evaluation criteria.

 QUALIFICATIONS

  • Enrollment in an accredited university majoring in Liberal Arts, Cultural Studies, Humanities, or another related field; minimum 3.5 GPA.

  • Well-organized, independent, hard-working, detail-oriented, levelheaded, and personable.

  • A working knowledge of Macs and proficient in Microsoft Office preferred.

  • Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.


Film Development  

Overview

An authentic filmmaker is one with a compelling vision to impact culture through the art of the moving picture. Manalive Media Group’s film development internship will provide just that: real-world experience that equips aspiring filmmakers with the skills needed to excel in this competitive—and often misguided—industry.

Learn the art and business of filmmaking by working alongside some of the brightest undergraduate minds from around the world matriculating at universities across the United States. Together, you’ll assist leadership in the execution of its creative strategy and develop the values, attitudes, and proven practices to create habits for success in the film industry.

  • Duration: 3–6 months.

  • Time commitment: 5–10 hours minimum per week.

  • Location: virtual (team meetings held via video-conference).

OPPORTUNITIES

  • Gain hands-on experience in the film industry.

  • Become comfortable working in a professional business environment and with a cross-functional team.

  • Learn from deeply experienced professionals through the Guest Speaker and Mentorship programs.

  • Receive a letter of recommendation and Certificate of Completion from the CEO upon completion.

  • Receive academic credit.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Read scripts and provide input.

  • Conduct research and offer recommendations.

  • Assist with crafting presentation material and other administrative tasks.

  • Participate in structured pitch sessions and staff meetings.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Enrollment in an accredited university, majoring in Film or another related field; minimum 3.5 GPA.

  • Independent, hardworking, detail-oriented, levelheaded, and personable.

  • Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

  • A working knowledge of Macs and graphic design/editing software such as Final Draft, Photoshop, Illustrator, Keynote, Adobe Acrobat, and Final Cut a plus.
